Fatigue is defined as “Fatigue is a subjective feeling of tiredness which is distinct from weakness, and has a gradual onset. Unlike weakness, fatigue can be alleviated by periods of rest. Fatigue can have physical or mental causes”
Fatigue can be both physical and mental. Physical fatigue comes from the prolonged physical activity which causes tiredness and reduced muscle capacity, whilst mental fatigue comes from the reduction in mental capacity due to the prolonged use of the mind throughout a period of time with little or minimal rest.
